This plant is made using Ian Bernstien's quad Bicore circuit. It basically is four Bicores on a single chip. I have it powered by a D1 solar engine with a 10F cap. Solar cells are placed at the back of the piece of cedar driftwood, and power the D1 as well as a secondary 1381-J solar engine which spins a bloom via a pager motor on the front of the arrangement. The clear blooms are fiber optic strands combined with clear craft beads. A red micro LED is imbeded in each bloom and all eight are hooked to the quad Bicore. The patterns of light dancing across the blooms is amazing to watch as it changes patterns constantly. It gives about 30 minutes of light show per charge and makes for a nice evening treat.
