This little guy is a floating variety of Aquabot. It floats on the surface and charges a capacitor bank during the day via a D1 solar engine. At night, it begins blinking two micro LEDs hooked to a standard Bicore. It flashes for around 3 hours before it becomes to dim to see. The orange balls are common fishing floats. All of the electronics are sealed inside of a plastic vending machine bubble, glued to a square piece of acrylic. I can just imagine 20 of these little bots floating in a pond and giving a different pattern of light show every evening. | ||||||||
