				Bubblebot 1 is an attempt at building a more durable bot. He is completely encased in a vending machine bubble. The only openings are at the motor shafts which extend through short tubes made of brass grommets. This guy is totally weather proof and laughs at the rain. He rolls off of other bots and obstacles in the BEAM park without getting tangled. He can survive a drop from the table to a hard floor with no damage. The most exciting benefit is that when he hits the floor he rolls over onto his motor shafts and keeps going!. His brass frame makes him bottom heavy like a weeble, so that no matter how you place him he always rolls over onto his feet! The best part is that the most damage to occur from a long drop would only crack the upper part of the bubble. But hey, it only costs a quarter to replace. If you hang around the vending machines long enough, you can get them for free. It's the part people throw away. How's that for recycling?
